First things first: STRAWBERRY FACE
We have this farmers market a few blocks from our place, so we jog down there in the mornings every so often to check out their fresh cherry juice {BONKERS} and cheese and what not. I usually let Everett out of his stroller to wander around a bit and play with the friendly miniature white poodle, so lovingly called The Hulk. But the Hulk wasn't there this time, so instead {and I should have seen this coming} he ran straight for the strawberries, stood on his tiptoes, picked one out for each hand, and I turned around just as he was running back to the stroller with his thieved prize like it was his job. I'm raising an unabashed strawberry bandit. Or maybe one that's a tiny bit abashed, he was running. So I picked up his raided blue basket of choice, and we ate them all the way home. And they were like candy, HO-LY cow.
 Facial response to the question, "Hey Everett, where's Wink?"
{I'm holding him}
We live close to the street where this car is parked, so I walk by it almost every day and see it sitting there all old and regal. Just once I'd like to spot it motoring around town so I could get a look at its proud owner perched in the driver's seat window, knowing that they're on cloud nine because that is their dream of dream cars.
 This is a picture of two strangers meeting for the first time.
The friendship lasted about 10 seconds and looked like this for all of it.
 Is there really anything quite as good as a big ol' hug to your head?
We are on a mission for greenery right now. Have I ever mentioned just how much I love such close access to these things? Because I do. I love this town of ours, with all its little shops and fresh markets. And I'm just going to speak for the both of us here, but this guy is a fan too.
 Case in point. This is him passing out loves as he wanders by.
 And somehow there is always a signature pet at these markets too. At this one, it was a cat.
 And then there was a dog. And then they both showed up at the same time and Everett looked around like, IS ANYBODY SEEING THIS, THERE ARE TWO OF THEM.
Summers are also for taking it home to the bedroom where the AC window unit lives, and hanging out on the bed in, say, a diaper, and letting that icy air just breathe over you.
And then when you're sufficiently cooled, you head back out for more.
