it almost looks warm, doesn't it?

Thursday, March 7

Booties: F21, Skirt: c/o Leanne Barlow, Sweater: Zara, Belt: F21, Necklace: UO

The 'snowquester' storm blew in yesterday. First thing in the morning, as Everett and I shuffled from the dark bedroom on our way to pour him a cup of milk, we peeked through our curtains into the quiet street lit only by yellow street lamps and piles and piles of glowing white snow. Everett's first real experience with the stuff. Our sidewalk and yard were still untouched by shovels or sun, our tree branches bending into the weight of the heavily packed white flakes, our window panes cold and frosted, and the darkened windows down the road telling us that we might just be the very first to see our little snow-heaped corner of the street. And in this wonderful, eastern, 2-wheel-drive only land of Virginia, this means that Tyson works from home and no school for everyone! Everett played with the pots and pans while I scrambled some eggs and boiled some tea and then we dropped it off in the bedroom for a shocking, never-before-seen Wednesday morning breakfast in bed. Tyson adapted quickly.
But today there's a steady stream of run-off from the rooftops and March seems to be getting serious about its March duties and things. The usual: daylight savings, bestowing good juju upon us all with the first day of spring, fighting for a shelf of green in a supermarket who favors lining their aisles with pink and yellow peeps on February 15th, etc. We're all rooting for you, March!

The other day, while I was at work, my cousin stole my apple ipad and tested to see
if it can survive a twenty five foot drop, just so she can
be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views.

I know this is completely off topic but I had to share it with someone!
