Isla turns two

Friday, August 26

Isla Loie, my little eterni-baby, turns two today. I can hardly talk about what her presence in our family means to us, as she is a literal light ray wrapped in squish, who patters around all day with laughter pouring out of her as easily as her tiny words do. No, there are hardly words for that. I only know that last night, as we drove through the country with our windows down, I listened to my babies feed off each other's giggles as the wind wildly swept over their faces, and Tyson and I looked at each other with our happiness so thick in that moment, you could cut it with a knife. Everett is so lucky, and Tyson is so lucky, and I am so lucky to be gifted with her presence on a daily basis. I am so excited to see who she becomes, as her little soul is already such a powerful source for good in the world. I love you my darling miniature big girl. Happiest birthday!

Also wondering where that dress is from - it's gorgeous!
