who's in the mood for some wedding photos

Monday, August 31

Last month, Tyson's brother married his high school sweetheart. In the heart of July on the eastern side of Kansas, the day was green, hot, and heavy with humidity. But the love, you guys! Watching them together was beautiful. Jenna and Jordan were made for each other, and getting to celebrate their day was a highlight of our summer. I was so thrilled when they asked me to photograph their wedding for them. It went really well, I didn't even throw up! (I kid. But seriously you guys, IT'S SOMEONE'S ONE DAY AND YOU'RE LIKE, THE GUY)
I just finished editing their photos, so I thought I'd post a small portion here, just to celebrate love, and summer and new sister-in-laws. We love you Jenna and Jordan! And congratustinkinglations guys!

You did an amazing job capturing the big day! These pictures are beautiful! If you don't kind me asking, what lens did you shoot these with? My friend has asked me to shoot her wedding this Friday and I am struggling with what lens to use. Any tips or advice is very much appreciated!

Gorgeous photos! Maybe you should be a wedding photographer in your free time (although somehow I doubt you have much of that with two little ones on your hands haha). Congrats to the happy couple. :)

Well done. I've been a wedding photographer for 3 years and I still throw up in mouth before every single wedding.

Nice work on diffusing the light on some of those black and white ones. You did a great job. I understand that must have been stressful...I mean, it's one thing when it's your kids or your outfits or products (which you also do great at). Looks like the Lord was just prepping you for perhaps your next "side job". They look lovely!!
