Shoes: ASOS, Skirt: c/o Tailor & Stylist, Tee: Old Navy, Jacket: ASOS, Bracelet: c/o Tailor & Stylist
I'm going through this stage of dressing right now where most items that I bring into my closet are working out to be progressively less girly than the items before it. It's all ripped shades of black, gray and blue in there. Like a bruise I guess? But even less appealing to look at right now, because WHY HANG WHEN YOU CAN STUFF. #personalmantra #wordstoliveby So when I found a pink skirt with a bow on the back, that I really liked, it was like a full-on rebellion against the equilibrium of my closet. But on a day that heels are a necessary, I figure I might as well go full monty with it. A good pencil skirt will always have a home in my clothing rotation, and probably on the floor of my closet too.
Tailor & Stylist, the boutique where this skirt is from, was actually founded by a tailor husband (who worked as one of the youngest tailors on Rodeo Drive) and a fashion stylist wife (with nearly a decade of credits). Some couples just hog all the cool talents. Anyway, they offer free shipping on all orders and exchanges and they're kindly giving The Daybook readers a 10% discount with the code DAYBOOK10. Thanks guys!
