from wednesday

Friday, August 24

Wednesday was a good day. As soon as Tyson was done with work, we had a little party for him at the park with silly hats and all. That is until it started to rain and we had to head home to blow out the candles and finish singing happy birthday over his favorite blackberry & raspberry pie. {Speaking of candles, those things were supposed to be the sparkler kind, but they didn't exactly work so ... he got a blow torch} We bathed Everett and put him to bed together, and then a friend of ours came over so we could go out for a little while. It was laid back and easy, just like his birthday last year, but even better with three of us this time. So glad we have a day to celebrate our favorite person.

Hope you have a great weekend! I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed today, all the way under, crazy juice and all. So excuse me while I go humiliate myself.

Happy Birthday and Happy Celebrations to your sweet family. :)
And good luck with the wisdom teeth - it'll hurt just a little, nothing you can't handle. And that gas they give you to knock you out is the best! Seriously I feel asleep in less than two seconds.

best of luck! turns out i had only 1 wisdom tooth, which happened to be next to a missing molar, so it just slid right down in it's place!

so, i've never had to endure that awful experience you are about to go through today...

please tell me one thing though, you will post a video as hilarious as david after dentist :P

Epic wisdom teeth story. I had to go "all the way under" too and after waking up, my mom is so bad at directions I was the only one able to get us out of the medical building. I had just been under anesthesia and couldn't think but my sense of direction was still better than my mother's...

Good luck, you'll be fine!

Everett adores you Sydney. How freakin awesome is he!!!!!!!! And happy birthday to your man.. one of the things i'm looking forward to most about having children is being able to celebrate their fathers birthday with them, nothing better than celebrating the mans birthday who supports and provides for an entire family!

Lots of prayers for a safe procedure today (and hopefully pain-free)... at least you'll get lots of ice cream? PS: Babies + birthday hats must be one of the cutest things!

If you havent you need to watch the BYU student wisdom teeth video. Hilarious, and hopefully not how you respond to the drugs.

Ahh. Wisdom teeth removal. Been there. Check out below for a very handy method of keeping ice on both sides of your mouth at the same time while you sleep or rest! I about died laughing at my husband when he did this {per oral surgeon's suggestion}. Happy Friday!

Love the pictures. Good luck with your wisdome teeth. I had them pullled out 13 years ago and it was horrible, couldn't eat for weeks, but I hear from other people that they didn't have any problems. Lets hope you heal quickly.

I've had sooo many dental procedures, and I've definitely had the crazy juice for a few of them. Just demand ice cream after! But make sure you eat it after the numbness has passed enough that you won't drool all over yourself in public (I've been there).
Happy belated Birthday to Tyson! :)

It looks like you all had a lovely time!

When I had my wisdom teeth removed I distinctly remember counting backwards from 100 (I'm not sure I made it to 90) and seeing the doctors melt into piles of sand.

Oh my. But, I watched lots of MacGyver afterwards and ate mint chocolate chip ice cream!

Enjoy!
