Happy Friday ya maniacs! I'm going to be over here soaking up all the good weekend juices with my boys because come Sunday, I'll be in L.A. for four days with the lovely people of
Windsor. I'm so excited and thrilled to be able to go! At the same time the thought of kissing Everett goodbye at the airport just turns me into a big ol' pile of public embarrassment. So I guess we're doing the dual personalities thing now. Tyson is really excited to get lots of daddy-son bonding time in with Everett, and I'm so looking forward to hearing the "mister mom" report when I get back {muahahaha!}

My question is how did you learn photography? Your outfit shots are so beautiful. I have taken a class and it was not very helpful. Did you take classes or learn by online tutorials? I'm a new reader of your blog and just love it. I'm leafing through your old posts and amazed that you had an Everett at 36 weeks and 5 days that was jaundice. I had MY Everett at 36 weeks and 5 days who had to wear the funky goggles too! How strange! He's 20 months now and is our little tornado! (My little girl's name is Ella if you have a girl next). LoL

I'm jut jealous that you get to go to a Windsor store! I love online shopping, but there's nothing quite like trying it on and leaving with a bag of goodies.
My questions are photo related... What are your tips for outfit photos in particular, and especially the editing process? Do you have certain little photoshop tips and tricks, do you crop them much, etc.
Also, as far as posing for outfit photos, any basic tips?

Good luck! I just left my little guy for the first time recently, and it was five days. Husband and I went on a vaca and he got spoiled at grandmas. It was TOUGH, but if there is one thing I learned it's that I missed him much more than he missed me!

Here's a question I've been wanting to ask: Denim skirts, in or out? I keep thinking out, but I always hesitate to get ride of mine. I only wear it when I'm in awkward in between phases during and post pregnancy and nothing else fits. But I never feel in fashion when I do!

The PRECIOUS pics of Everette (my little boy loves the videos), the sweet words about your husband (it encourages me to be a better wife), your totally honest moments (you are so beautiful in all your "flaws" too) and your style. welcome to southern california! me and my little family live in santa monica so of course the picture you posted got me excited : ).
i guess my main question for you would be how do you manage your time? my friend and i recently started a design website ( www.2ndandstrand.com ) and we only post three times a week because we are both mom's of young kids and want to feel like we are growing in side things we feel passionate about (interior design), but obviously keep a focus on our families. do you have a daily schedule that you are able to stick too? or just tell yourself you'll only spend X amount of time each day on the computer?
