When Everett goes down for a nap, I usually don't lay down with him. Mostly because that responsible voice in my head {though lately, it's really sounded more like a guilt-trip voice} reminds me of all the things I could be accomplishing during that precious hour.
But today I did. I took a nap with my sleepy boy and when he woke up, we played. Just us and the sheets and my toes. And I really really loved it.
P.S. I'm fully aware that no one but me wants to look at
this many pictures of my baby. But too bad. ;)

Oddly enough, even though I only "know" you because of your blog, seeing your pictures of Everett takes me back to when my two boys were babies. They looked very similar to your precious bundle. Continue enjoying EVERY second as you do. Mine are now 21 and 18 and tower over me. As much as I love and like them now, I miss that precious time that I only had with him ;)

This is the cuttest baby boy that I have ever seen! :))

these really are so great. it reminds me of your post on when you had a dream about him before he was born and how "his pouty lips never quite closed all the way" or something like that. it's amazing how you just knew!

I'm 6 months along with our first baby and while we're so so so excited, there are days when I doubt my ability to handle what's coming in the next few months...But seeing your sweet baby reminds me that it will be the best thing in the world!
