- Loading Everett's car seat into the middle of my backseat after hefting a barbell for an hour. It's the grunt heard 'round the parking lot. More like the three grunts. Somehow the first two never quite make my arms work.
- Standing in line and getting hit in the back of the head with a paper airplane from an anonymous pilot. So I retrieve the paper airplane from the ground and stand up to return it to ... oh that's right ... no one. No one is there to take the stupid airplane. And everyone's looking at me like, wow that's really unfortunate and embarrassing. So I take that paper airplane and I SLAM DUNK IT IN THE TRASH CAN.
-For me, meditation has the same effect as a massage: it feels good, so it makes me smile. So there's the teacher at the front of the class right? Scanning her glorious sea of serious and thoughtful and meditative yoga faces ... and then she gets to me, eyes closed, just smiling away like an idiot. So she announces people, announces to the class that somebody is having a good time. After which I pick up my shovel, dig a very large hole and throw myself in it.

I just have to comment back to Charlotte (in love and with a total smile here)...I'm guessing you are still in your 20's (?) because, believe you me, 50 does not equal "old lady" unless you are still a long way from it...you'll see when you are my age, with 4 little kids, that 50 is a WHOLE lot younger than you used to think it was...just with the benefit of more money and more wisdom :)

In public situations - take out, dressing rooms, I always use Emily. No use in going through that 2 minute dance.
Those yellow pants look amazzzing on you! I know you have thousands of comments/emails but I NEEEED to know what the fabric is like with those jeans. Are they thick or ultra thin like most colored jeans? I have been having the hardest time finding a pair that don't show off every detail of... our underwear :) You know what I'm talking about.

LOL @ the name thing! People are funny. It's kind of like when they totally butcher your name at Starbucks. :) I love the yellow pants! Looks amazing with those wedges. Also, I totally agree on the naked pregnant pics. My sister took a picture of my lounging in our hotel once (and I had just pulled up my shirt a little to give my belly breathing room) and my niece was like, "Can I post it on facebook?" I had to snatch the phone from her hand and say noooooooo! LOL.

HI Sydney, I am also Sydney, and I found your blog through my bff Sara. I was just going through some of your posts, I love your writing style, and your style, btw, but I had to comment on this particular post because 1) People always call me Tiffany and I have NO clue as to why and 2) I also get the Cindy? Answer: No, Sydney, like Australia.
