Dear Dunkin,
I love you dearly. But you need to get the heck off the end of my block. I'm supposed to be finishing a smoothie with kale in it or something right now. Instead I'm eating donuts and sliding around the house in my husband's socks like a pants-less Tom Cruise. It's not pretty. And by the way, neither is that new poster of your perfectly swirled hot chocolate. Take it down.

yum! traditional dunkin donuts are the best, especially early in the morning! ...but since we don't have them here in italy, I've got a bakery up the street that makes the freshest (with just the right amount of sugar on top) I've ever had!

Ok, I have thought the same thing! I have always loved donuts more than cupcakes! They can be just as cute, and they are so much yummier. Maybe they just get a bad rap because they're fried.

We have a Dunkin' on our street too, but I've been pretty good about avoiding it. We have a much scarier poster than yours--it's a huge tuna salad sandwich on a bagel and it's a great deterrent for me.
It might be dreadful and unhealthy and everything, but it makes a good picture and a cozy feeling. :)

i'm a cupcake gal, but i so feel you. even though i do competitive swimming year 'round, my parents want me to eat more vegetables and that sort of thing. but, every sunday at church, one of our sunday classes teachers bring delicious donuts for everyone to enjoy, and did i mention hot chocolate, too? yes, i die.

Life is short. Enjoy your Dunkin Donut. There are many people in this world who do not live near a Dunkin and cannot even fathom the joy that one of their donuts imparts once it passes through the lips. (This is spoken by the woman who just ate a special Dunkin Valentine heart shaped filled custard donut for breakfast this morning and is in a very happy mood because of her good fortune).

When I lived in NYC, it seemed like there were more dunkins than Starbucks. Either way, both swirled me into their sugar addiction, and now I could really go for a chocolate doughnut.
Sock sliding is the cure to all woes and blues. I mean it. :) There's nothing more awesome than zipping around the house being silly in husband's socks to cure a blah mood!

I love old fashioned donuts too! Dunkin ones are great, but there's a grocery store in rural MN that sells donuts from which you will never recover. :) (I grew up there.)
In my opinion Krispy Kremes just need to disappear from the world.

Ha - yes, I am so with you! I love a good old fashioned donute so much. There is a donut coop really close to my hosue and I have made it my new Friday morning tradition to stop in before I go to the office - best way to start the day! Or finish the day, too!

Men's socks are the best. I love wearing my fiance's socks. In regards to the donuts, they are hard to find here in Belgium (Dunkin or other). I've had the pleasure of eating Dunkin donuts once while in Germany. I will happily trade you with some Belgian waffels.
