Oh Monday Monday. I used to hate you. Still do a little. Not a huge fan of Tys leaving for work at 7 - just so you know. But today I like you. Today, you are bringing me Christmas. A Christmas tree, lights and bulbs, three stockings and probably a new wreath to be exact. Our very first! That's right. This is the first year we're not traveling for Christmas, thus the first year we actually have time to enjoy tinsel, blinking lights, etc at home. And by george we're gonna bring it. I'm looking at you peppermint bark, A Very She & Him Christmas and itty-bitty Santa hat.

I just found out that my schedule cleared up enough to decorate my Christmas tree too :) It just makes a rainy Monday so much more pleasant! (The two peppermint lattes and two cups of coffee don't hurt either!!!!)

ok, I hadn't checked in for over a month and lookie there, you had your baby! Congrats! Love the name, and i love reading your mothering thoughts. I remember when I had my first, everyw here I went when I'd see another mother, I'd think "wow, you know what I've been through, this is tough but SO wonderful!" I've had 4 now, and the awe has faded a bit, but there is no denying that early exultant joy that comes from a fresh new baby straigh from heaven. Glad you got through the beginning nursing pains (ay yay yay) and you're looking at a full month old baby. It IS tough to see them get better, but with an 11 year old as my oldest, the joy only gets better;) It's just hard to stop and say...this is our family, its a difficult statement to say, even though I feel I should say it, but I'm not ready to. I'll never fully close that door to heaven.
