park it

Monday, October 10

Friday night I made Tys take me to Wendy's for a cheeseburger deluxe. {A person can only take so much chicken and vegetables. And oatmeal and apples. And other healthy stuff that does not include hot fries and cheeseburgers} And then we went to the park, plopped ourselves in the sunshine, finished our birth plan and laughed at some of the gems in his "Daddy's Survival Guide 101". Oh, the adventure we have ahead of us.

P.S. It snowed this past week back in ol' Idaho. SNOWED. As someone who is very protective of her four seasons, I would like to thank you dear northern Virginia. I'll take my sunshine, and upper 60's and fall leaves for a couple more months, thank you.

Woo hoo, first comment! I love how you always wear your Hunters with everything and they always seem to co-ordinate. And I don't blame you for that cheeseburger--I'm rather tired of healthy things all the time too :)

All the best,

October 10, 2011 10:18 AM

What a lovely friday afternoon at the park. I also made my mom and best friend go get fries with me on friday night, because I had been craving them all week [we all deserve them every once in a while, right?!]. My hubs was teaching a class, so he couldn't indulge in the greasiness. Hope the rest of your weekend went well.

Sounds like fun and you had some gorgeous weather it looks like!

One of the things that they probably *don't* tell you in those daddy books is to have daddy wear a t-shirt if he brings the baby to you to nurse in the middle of the night.

Because if daddy picks up the baby to carry it to mommy, and that baby latches on to him, daddy will feel it to his toes. Or so I've heard....lol!
