I'm just going to assume that this is what mine will look like. {check out those dark circles! gawgous} My body is ready, baby's head is locked and loaded in my hips ... but he doesn't seem to notice. He loves it in there, and that's OK. That extra ounce a day keeps the doctor away, right? Besides, my Dad says he's gonna be a football guy like Tys - this is his protest against the world series.
Hope your weekend is lovely. Filled with Halloween parties and pumpkin carving. If it's OK with baby, we're going to attempt a baby shower tomorrow thrown by my sweet friend Laura. {Thank You Laura!!}

Maybe he'll be a Halloween baby!
Back in August, my friend had her baby shower on a Saturday. According to her doc, she was 70% effaced and 2 cm dilated. She had the baby just three days later. You are very likely just days away from meeting your son. Congrats! Hang in there! xo.
Dark circles= Beauty Marks
What dark circles?
OH! I was so sure from the lack of Tweets that you had popped!
Also, I agree with the above. You don't have dark circles! You look gorgeous, gurl. Werk it ;)

Is that raspberry leaf tea? Have an awesome time at your shower. Maybe you guys can jump on a trampoline and get that little guy out.
My little guy did the same thing. I was dilated to a 3-4 for 4 weeks. He was fine where he was at. Maybe a Halloween baby? Then you could name him jack. ;)

wishing you the absolute VERY best when this little guy decides to come out!
Aww good luck at your shower! How fun! I never thought I would make it to my shower, it was two or three weeks from my due date. I went into labor the morning before and gave birth during my shower while everyone was there! Craziness. Those contractions the last few weeks are brutal. Chocolate covered pretzels were my therapy:)
When is your due date? I'm so excited for you! With my first I was a week late, we just had our second son 10 days ago and he was only a day late and the labor was super fast...
I hope that your labor is easy peasy and you get to meet your little E soon:)
Have a wonderful baby shower!
Good luck! The World Series is almost over, so hopefully he'll be ready soon!
good luck! hopefully these last few days will mean the actual labor part of delivery is quick and easy- as easy as it can be i guess :)
write up your ali
awwww enjoy these last few days with just u and your hubby!! hoping you a quick labor and speedy recovery! can't wait to meet your lil one!
How many weeks are you now? Still looking good! Hope he's ready to make his appearance soon!
I feel your pain. Like LITERALLY! I'm 38 weeks with my third and the contractions/ backaches/bruised ribs are driving me insane. I practically live in the bathtub these days!! Hang in there. Only a few more weeks to go. And in my experience, the full term babes are the calm ones so keep that kiddo cookin!!
You're ALMOST there! Be strong!
doppio "good luck !!!

Hope you had a great weekend! Hope this baby comes soon!!!
I haven't had much time for the internet for the past several months so my viewing of your blog has been spotty at best. Today I decided to catch up and scroll through your blog. I now must inform you that I will no long be following your blog, linking to your blog, or referring people to your blog because I cannot think of you the same learning that you have chosen to use a midwife instead of a hospital and doctor. As a mother I can not come to terms with your willingness to put your child at risk. I know women around the world have successful "natural" births, women around the world also milk their own cows and bail their own water. They have a midwife if that's all that is available, if there were a doctor available they would have a doctor there, if a hospital were available they would go to a hospital. If something preventable happens to this baby you have to live with that. You never know what could happen. I would have been a perfect candidate for a "natural" at home birth, perfect pregnancy and seemingly labor. If I had not been hooked to a monitor we would not have known that our babies heart rate was dropping with every contraction and move that I made. We tried to make it work but ended up having a c-section. If I had unknowingly pushed through it my baby would have died and possibly me as well. My pregnancy was easy, labor easy - for me. I had no way of knowing that it would stress my baby, do you? What if everything goes great and then your baby doesn't breath right away what will you do? Rush then to the hospital and risk the brain damage being done? You will have no way of monitoring your vitals, so what if years later you notice your kid is slower than everyone else, you wont know if it was your fault because your blood pressure was irregular or your babies blood sugar was low on his birth day. Plus birth is messy, who wants that at home? You don't have to take the pain meds at the hospital if you don't want, but don't risk your babies health just so you can say "I'm at peace and do things the way God intended". I'm LDS too, God gave us technology to improve our lives, our mortality, and spread his message and kingdom. Not so that we could ignore it for some false humility. It is a gift He has given us, show some gratitude for that and for the faith He has placed on you by making you a mother.
Congrats with the great news, enjoy your new family!
Yay! Congrats on your new addition. I'm positive from reading your blog that he will be brought up in the most positive and loving home possible.
Congrats syd! very happy for you :)
Enjoy the baby shower! :) Can't wait to see your darling baby!
