I walked around with my belly out for most of it. Sometimes clothes are just the worst kind of torture. We played cards, and practiced light-touch massage for labor {Holy. Hannah. it's like dying and going to anti-backache heaven} and listened to Madeleine Peyroux and Billie Holiday while husband played my belly. Have you ever just laid on the couch and listened to music before? We hadn't. But boy, it's the best kind of unproductive.
And then sometimes baby would pop in to say hi.
He likes the music. And head rubs.

so super sweet. We love just listen to music in our house...good music :) and YES clothes are the worst when pregnant!
Precious! I'm glad you guys didn't get too swamped by Irene. And I love the baby boy likes music... and who wouldn't love a massage?
First I have to correct you on the spelling of the word "stalked." Since you told us we have to correct your grammatical errors :) I believe you meant "stocked."
Second, don't you love watching the baby move? It's probably one of the coolest things ever. Just when you think that baby can't possibly provide any more entertainment, he grows into an 11-month old and you can just sit and watch him for hours like I Love Lucy reruns. It's the best :)
So cute.... WOnderful ;)

Love that you pot you pregnancy quirks! I also like to have the belly out at home. It feels so much better. And last night I had my first major peeing myself incident. I stood up to go pee, coughed, and had some MAJOR leakage. Glad all three of you are safe and sound.
Love the belly pictures. You are possibly the cutest pregnant lady ever. Glad you were safe from Hurricane Irene!

I agree clothes are the worst. I am only 2o weeks preggo, but I spent the weekend in my husband's basketball jersey, because it was like not wearing clothes :)
Fun stuff, ya Irene didn't really do anything to us either so our water just wasted away and got left in a hotel room because we couldn't tote it around. I hope the cleaning ladies enjoyed it! Glad you guys are safe! Sounds like a relaxing weekend. I need more of those. : )

I always love when the baby pushes out like that, unless they are shoving their head in your ribs, then, not so much fun.
Oh lovely! I'm so glad you guys are safe!
I saw a picture once of a foot pressed against the mum's tummy. Adorable.

Love the pictures and glad Irene gave you an excuse to have a relaxing weekend (me too!) And seriously you make pregnancy look so beautiful! It's always a beautiful thing of course, but not everyone can make it look so cute ;)
Absolutely love your blog!

so cute! love this. :)
How sweet! Soak in these moments you have together, as much as you can, because when the baby arrives, your world will be turned upside-down and side-ways like a "twisted bobcat pretzel" (but in a good way). I loved being pregnant and feeling the baby move. So. freakishly. good.

OHHH!! the baby head picture... how adorable! Irene's aftermath back home was worst than the actual storm itself lots of rain and lots of flooding :(
