rigby lake

Monday, July 11

husband's trunks: JCrew
Saturday we hit one of the only beaches our little section of Idaho has to offer. We didn't take many pictures cause Husband was too busy carrying me kicking and screaming into the frigid water with him. {Baby was helping and he kicked too.} He's a lake monster that man.
It was the best afternoon. There's something about a little sand, a picnic lunch and a nap in the sun. Oh yes, and a quick realization that it's time for a new swimsuit.

I hear ya. I've been *blessed* (cough) with juicy juicy mangos as opposed to mosquioto bites when it comes to my endowment. They're a liability when swimming eh. If i'm doing anything more strenuous than floating in the water I arrive armed with a stirdy rash shirt and some cute bikini bottoms. I have been known to lose my swimsuit in the rough surf at our holiday beach. My sister and cousins laughed for about 20 minutes leaving me splashing about in water up to my chin until they finally took pity and suplied me with appropriate attire so I could make a hurried and clumsy exit from the sea in a black man's t-shirt (they cling by the way). Its tough being handed such a responsibility - I swear that keeping those tots under control is God's humourous way of giving us practice for when we have to run after small children. Sigh.
On a totally different subject...where did you get your super awesome fake lense glasses from? I want a pair super bad but New Zealand wants to charge me about a million bucks for some so I think i'll try get some from overseas.
Love to you and bub. High five to husband just coz that's more appropriate.

How fun! Your belly looks so cute! I think it's so cute when pregnant ladies let their bellies show from beneath their swim suits! I could never pull it off, but you look great!

Saw you the other day while driving home, you and tyson were riding your bikes. I was going to shout HEY! from my car, but i thought that if i did you'd fall off your bike in fear and i'd be responsible for a pregnant lady fallinf off her bike. so i didn't haha.

Love that you're in Idaho. My parents live in Idaho Falls and go to Rigby Lake all the time in the summer. It's the place to be! I grew up in Sun Valley and love and miss Idaho so much. This post is great! I'd love to stay in touch even though you're leaving Idaho soon. :)

Here's my bloggy-blog:

Welcome to the joys of pregnancy boobs. A bandeau-y type top seems to help, as long as it's got the right support. Halter's are no longer my friends. Oh, and that's my family lake! Ok, so I married into it, but still. I've never even been...

I absolutely love your pictures and your cute way to stay modest! [Red Box] and let me say that I wish we had any sort of beach-like setting like you've pictured around here! In Tennessee we are mostly mountains and lakes with no sand. And lastly, your watermelon is making me make husband go get one from the store right now =)

Love your blog! *Laura
