a quicky

Thursday, July 21

1. Closet that I want to run away from
2. A love note from husband that I unburied in my jewelry box. The stick figure baby is my favorite
3. Husband's old soccer uniform. It's kind of the perfect fit for me and my bump.
4. His favorite pictures to take are the ones when I'm slackin

yea yea yea ... i know its awkward and awesome thursday again. But I'm lucky to even be alive right now people. So to celebrate, I thought I'd say hello.
And now I must return to packing. You see that dastardly closet that threw up on my floor right there? From what they tell me, it's going to be empty and packed nice and neat in boxes by noon.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

anyway. We're going to be graduates tomorrow. And then we're locking up our little empty house and driving our bums straight to DC. Can't wait to show you our new place! Happy Thursday friends. Sit on your bums and do nothing today for me wouldya?

I'm SO excited you're coming to DC!! It's opressively hot here right now so I hope it cools down a bit before you arrive. Are you living in DC proper or the outskirts?! If you ever want to brunch with some new friends here let me know, my roommates and I would be delighted to take you out!

Have fun in DC! After 7 years there I was glad to leave it, but doesn't mean I don't miss it!

Please tell us the area you'll be living in and post pictures of the place!

You are handling this better than I ever could! If I were you, I would use the preggo excuse a lot. "Cant lift - preggo... Gotta sit down - preggo..." do it! Good luck moving and safe travels!!

So excited that you're coming to DC! You MUST have a blogger meet-up at some point in the future (and I mean the very distant future...as things might be a wee bit busy for the next few months...maybe). Oh, and if you haven't already, check out GiltCity Washington D.C. It's launching next week. You'll love it!

aw geez! Best of luck, kiddo....

I'm a believer in just hurling clothes into boxes. They're going to wrinkle anyway, and then you can make up forit by lovingly shaking them out, hanging them up, and making them a happy new closet home!

I feel kinda sad. I know we never saw each other that much anyway, but I feel like you will be so much further, and there won't even be a chance for an impromptu trip to SL. Boo. You guys are gonna love it though. It's going to be so great!

I can't wait to see your new place! My husband and I are moving from Washington state to DC in the first week of August--finding a place suitable for our family was tricky, to say the least. Husband went out to DC alone and secured us a place to live, so I haven't even seen the space yet.

Amie {Kitty Cats and Airplanes} said...

Husband and I did the exact same thing a year ago. Meaning we drove from Rexburg to DC right after graduation. Blech. Good luck!
