He made it back! House key in hand {your eye squinching and wishing worked!} and it was the happiest 4th of July eva. We were especially entertained by the part where he jumped on the bull ride and stayed on for MUCH longer than 2.7 seconds.

On a lame note, our allergies attacked us at 8:30 and the pregnant one decided that the best 4th of July eva should be finished up with a cool shower and a massage in bed.
husband LOVES giving massages. loves it.
so that's what we did.
and we felt pretty good about it. especially the pregnant one.
i mean, who can feel guilty about that when you get to spend the next five 4th of Julys in DC?

I'm from the DC area and can tell you first-hand that DC fireworks are the best EVER! I've been disappointed at every other fireworks show I've seen. Glad you guys have the house key!!
