Farmer's Market

Sunday, July 10

I cannot believe what bums we are right now. Its embarrassing. Our little town's farmers market has been open every friday evening this whole summer, and this last friday was the first time we'd been. We couldn't believe how many fresh, homemade {and delicious!} treasures we found. Honey lemonade and almond apricot cheese anyone? This is me, kicking myself square in the pants.
This is husband's "Holy Corncob!" face. The thing had butter and Mexican cheese on it. And hot sauce.
Boy knows how to finish a cob.
And then we went home and made our farmers market dinner.
Husband's favorite was the grilled garlic potatoes.
You know you done good when husband's vocabulary is suddenly limited to
baaaaaaaaabe. Holy!...
BA-AAAAAAAABE!

You're welcome.

Sorry to burst your bubble about Tyson's corn at the market... That was smothered in mayo (seriously, MAYO?! yuck!), parmesan cheese, and lime chili powder. Odd combo, but extremely de-lish!
Next time you should try the huge scones with strawberry butter! YUM.
