Yesterday was brilliant. Warm and sunny and breezy. After church, husband and I went on a hunt for a small park to have a BBQ with friends at next week ... and it ended up turning into {gasp!} ... a Sunday drive. We NEVER go on Sunday drives. Or drives period. We're a go-go couple. If we're in the car, we have somewhere to go. So we go. And then we drive quickly to our next destination.
Like secret agents.
Or like people who desperately need to go grocery shopping.
Of course, only 2 months before you move away.
I've cursed this town up one side and down the other. And now that summer's here, suddenly I'm an old sap.

Anyway. We pulled back the sunroof and went exploring in our little town. It's amazing that you can live in a place for 4 years {especially a farm-ish place} and not see everything there is to see.
Or discover the most perfect secret place to go on walks.Of course, only 2 months before you move away.

Oh my - loving the outfit and perfect color blocking from your top to you toes! I love Sunday drives. When I was growing up, our family took a drive at least 2 times a month. Dad would teach us awesome songs and we would swap stories about our week (and I would take a nap much to my mother's dismay). It was a magical time and I loved it! My hubby and I took one recently and it was fantastic, insightful and relationship building. I highly recommend! Cheers!

Ever been to the Ice Caves? Or how about the lonesome swing up by the dry farms? Very cool. I'm sure you've been to cave falls? If not you should go before you move. When my husband and I were dating we went on drives all the time through Hollywood and down Sunset Blvd. My husband knew all the great looks outs and neighborhoods in LA. Some of my best memories.
Love those pants, and especially love them with that shirt. Sunday drives can be such a great time for bonding with your hubby and your town...or they can be a great time for getting in an argument about where you want to eat and driving around town for an hour searching for a restaurant you can both agree on. Bonding either way, though, right? :)

I must confess, I spent several minutes looking at these pictures trying to decide if you had dyed your hair a brunette tinged with red. I've concluded that it's probably just the lighting, but it looks magnificent on you. Also, I;m obsessed with this look.
