My belly that is. I just amaze myself with my disguising abilities. Vertical stipes baby. That's where it's at.
Yesterday we took another Sunday drive. It's turning into a nice little summer habit. Except this time we found a itty-bitty, pretty cemetery. {weird? weird} But it had huge trees and old benches. Public property, that unlike a park, no one ever visits so it's nice and quiet. Perfect place to drop the back hatch and spread out a quiet picnic. And talk about which head stones we thought were the nicest. And which ones we'd like to have. And then talk about what Creeper McCreepersons we are for discussing such a thing at our age. Shame shame.

You look great! I love the fur vest + stripes - great color too!
I meant to tell you in the last post that I'm also expecting, and have been documenting my "pregnant style" on my blog too. Not that you need inspiration or anything :), but I thought I'd share. I'm due in late July btw.

Yeah, I've picnic-ed in a cemetery, too. With Hank Williams beside us. It was pretty awesome...:-)

I used to live near a cemetery and we would hang out there all the time. It was so quiet and peaceful. And it was gorgeous around the holidays when everyone would decorate the graves. Of course we did have one creepy neighbor who would steeal the crematic figurines and decorate her yard with them.
It's amazing how easy it was to dress for pregnancy...I didn't buy one thing maternity. And babydoll/empire waist things are your friend!
Awesome top btw!

Haha! Love it. :) and hello! You look awesome! I am so glad to see an outfit post again! You look amazing!
Are you ready for nerdiness from a stranger? So I watched a documentary on cemeteries and I think they said cemeteries are designed after central park (or visa versa. I can never quite remember).
Fantastic baby camo! I'll have the keep the vertical stripes tip in mind when that day comes.
Great photos! You look perfect, as always!

You look pretty as always!
And it sounds like a cozy trip :)

If you are in for another Sunday drive, I seriously suggest going up on Poleline road (Head S on 2nd East and turn right on poleline, stay on that road. It's towards the huge grain silos and railroad tracks). There is a cute little single swing on the right hand side of the road (can't remember exactly where along the road and I am not sure if it's even still there...it's been like, 5 years since I've been there) If you are able to find it, I think you might like it. If not, it's still a pretty little drive. :)
BUT...I WANT to see the bump. I LOVE that little bump. It's my little bumpy nugget. I vote to SHOW the BUMP! (I hope your super sheik show-resistant shirt won't take it personally.) MOMMA XOXOX
Hah at first I thought you were holding a gun instead of a clutch. Because I'm blind like that
You look so tan! And that's amazing you can still button those jeans, lucky girl! You look amazing!

100 year ago people treated cemeteries like parks and had picnics there and everything. So you're not weird. Just vintage!

I'd woo my fiance, but I can't decide which color I'd pick.
i've been on the hunt for the perfect fur vest since they came out last year - and yours is the only one that I've wanted to purchase! hopefully H&M will bring it back to their stores! way to have good taste ;)
and ps. I've always thought cemeteries were beautiful - if you think of it in a purely aesthetic nature, its not as weird! or we're all just weird together...eek :)
Great outfit! I'm happy for you guys! Enjoy your pregnancy! X MENNEPEN
Oh my! I read your blog each week... and just got caught up on the news of your pregnancy! YEAH! You are going to be such a cute mom!
I love getting inspiration for fashion from you and I have been struggling as of late because I am pregnant too! I am due in September with my 2nd boy, and have thought multiple, multiple times, "I wish I could find someone who had a site like Sydney for a little inspiration to help make clothes look flattering while pregnant!" And lo and behold you can do it now! I am not as tiny as you, but I look forward to some help making the belly look cute.
That is not the main reason I'm excited for you though... he he being a mommy is incredible and even more amazing with a hubby by your side through it all! I am so happy for you two even though you have no clue who I am! Ha ha congrats!
i TOTS just bought a shirt like that :]
it's blue too
i like it because it makes me feel taller haha

Aw, when my husband and I were dating, we use to meet up at the cemetery. It was the quietest place in the city, and no body bothers you.
It sounds really creepy though when you tell people...
I love old cemetaries. Guess I am weird too. :-) You are a master of disguise because those top definitely conceals the baby bump.
those colors look gorgeous on you! I'm so excited to see your progress through the trimester. Ahhhh I'm so excited! * happy sigh*
Love the color combinations! And that pregnancy glow is coming on fast and furious :) Congratulations, you both would make wonderful parents. I've been following your blog for some time now, love your posts and outfits!
Totally adorable!! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who wears a furry vest in May...although I am sure it makes more sense in your climate (I'm in phoenix lol).

Ooh good idea! My stomach is always kind of poochy. I'll have to invest in some vertically striped shirts. Thanks for the tip!
She is so pretty & looks great. It’s so nice to see a pregnant woman dress with style, versus sloppy-floppy or in spandex with their stomach hanging out. Maternity outfits especially for plus sized women are very in fashion now so more and more designers are concentrating here. Thanks for sharing...
