Turns out. I don't have what it takes to be a blond. Namely - being at the salon every three weeks to prevent those terrific trailer-trashified roots we all know and love. I have
loved the Ombre look for FOR.EVER. My first word was
Ombre believe it or not. {Just because my mom denies it doesn't mean it's not true} But whenever I've requested this look at different salons in the area, I've never found anyone willing to do it for me. UNTIL I found Kayleigh. And when I find a gem, I have to share. Rules of gem-finding, duh. So here ye, here ye - LADIES OF REXBURG. Run your little roots right over to this chica. She will do you right. Plus she's adorable. Plus she's affordable. Plus she has great hair. Plus we're friends now. Plus you don't need any more pluses. That's plenty.

JEALOUS! I'm normally blond, and I wanted this look for over a year. I was so excited when I found someone who would do it... Only it didn't work, I just ended up with brown hair... I DO NOT myself with brown hair.

i wish i was brave enough to let a hairstylist recreate ombre hair for me. but alas, i do not trust many people (too many freak accidents). so i'm going the au natural way and letting it grow..and i have a long way to go. i'm jealous of your instant ombre. looks great!

I managed to do the ombre look myself- it's REALLY low maintenance, and all it takes is literally slapping some bleach on the ends of your hair!
My hair is really dark brown, and it looks great. Anyone wondering if they should jump on the bandwagon - do it!!

I had my fried do it on me but she didn't color my base (my dark dark that already had some redish highlights) over and just added highlights to the bottom half of my hair. so, last week i took a box of color and dyed my hair dark just on top of my head lol. that added more contrast and now im satisfied. You look beautiful! I have ombre hair too but at first it was a nightmare, as you I couldn't find someone willing to do it and when I finally did, he did such a horrible job I wanted to cry. Fortunately, I found later another hairstylist who knew what he was doing and could fix it (thank god!) but still keeping the effect. Now I'm thinking of darken it as fall is coming here and it looks more like a spring/summer look to me. xoxo
