We ignored the fact that Valentine's Day was on a Monday this year and celebrated a bit early.
It was our first time staying in for V-day. And I have to say. It was the best one yet.
We ate crepes, chocolate dipped strawberries, a little bubbly, camped out in our living room and watched movies pretty much all night. It was my first time watching 10 Things I Hate about You and it might just have to become a V-day tradition.

o geez that looks like so much fun! after our first valentine's out, we decided in is the way to go haha
We started celebrating V-DAy in years ago. IT will serve you well to keep this up after you have kids. It's nearly impossible to get a decent babysitter on feb 14th. We feed the kids heart shaped grilled cheese sandwiches and then pick up some take out after their tucked snuggly in their beds. I light some candles, open some sparkling cider and we have ourselves the most romantic night of the year.
Really, you're smart to stay in. I think it's the most romantic way to celebrate.
