We discovered a couple things about ourselves on this date night.
First, excellent conversations are started when you treat your date like it's one of your first.
Questions like, "What's one thing that you don't already know about me, but you would like to know?"
or "If you could start this whole thing over again, what would be your dream college?"
It felt like our first date or something. And ended up triggering some mega laughs.
Second, we learned that we are magnets for killer deals. Like $3 jackets and sweaters at Gap.
They flock to us. In our exact size. In our favorite color.
We think it's because they know they'll be kissed and tucked snugly into bed every night if they come over to our house. Or, depending on our mood, dropped on the floor and left there for a week.
We just don't tell them that part.
