Jeans: Gap, Belt: Thrifted, Top: American Eagle, Watch: Gift, Necklace c/o Gold and Citrus
Howdee do!
Did you have a good valentines day? Husband and I had a pretty boring one. {We celebrated early remember?} I got up super duper early so we could ride to school together {and get a good parking space ... and have husband quiz me on art history before class} and then we went to JB's for dinner. Which I pretty much begged on my knees for. JB's and I have a slightly unhealthy producer/consumer relationship. But I can't help it. I've been having this uncanny hankering for French Toast lately and husband has been kind enough to oblige. Except that he gets the grilled salmon. Which I glare at while I down my 4 pieces of bacon and tell myself I deserve it for stomping around in heels all day.
Everyone deserves bacon for that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You poor babies. Sorry my life is boring. Here's something slightly more exciting for you.
You see, I'm in a little competition. You see that Gold and Citrus necklace?
Good. Cause you're gonna be seeing a lot more of it. I'll be styling it at least three different ways over the next few weeks. And then I'll be judged. {like on American Idol, minus JLo's hair}
The winner will get a sparkly new prize. And if I win, I might just give it away.
Or I might not. I haven't decided which shoulder angel I'll be listening to that day.

Your pretty necklace was the first thing I noticed.
Followed by the thought that only you could pull off double denim so beautifully!
love this outfit! i need some bellbottoms asap! too cute.
Adorable outfit, but that necklace is insanely gorgeous!
Your photos are definitely not boring! They are getting better and better with each post! :) tutorial?

you are soo NOT boring! i need some new fun chunky necklaces like the one you're wearing!!!
Love that necklace. Its so funny that you are in a styling competition with it. I was thinking as I looked at the pics that I hope a giveaway would be involved with the necklace, because its so perfect, but out of my budget. :) he he. You need to go all out so you win! Turn it into a belly chain perhaps, ha just kidding.
Your legs look like the NEVER end in those jeans. I am going to haul my wide legs out again!!!
Love this outfit. You are not boring. Love your blog!
Wonderful necklace!

i think you did a great job styling the necklace! that would be an american idol "yes" from me :)
This outfit is probably one of my favorite of yours! The whole combo compliments you and itself. Hair, necklace, shirt, belt, pants... Good job lady! You look classy. Good luck with the contest. I am sure you'll win!

Am so loving your jeans. Most likely I will be visting the states in the fall..hoping that GAP will still have your jeans!!
This outfit may look boring on other people but not boring at all on you!
In your case, you make the outfit interesting.
Love, love, love your necklace! before I finished reading the post I had already clicked over to Gold and Citrus sooo wanting to buy that necklace, until I saw the cost. It is gorgeous though!!!
So hope you do a fun giveaway that I could possibly win!! hehe :)
SUCH a cute outfit!
I'm loving this outfit! It's probably my favorite I've seen in a while on anybody! That's quite a statement. It just looks really good! I'm totally going to try to re-create it, but don't worry, I'll give you credit. :)
And PS: Your Valentine's was more eventful than ours. The dog was the only one who ended up with a gift. :) Ha ha ha ha!
I love the all denim outfit & the necklace is so pretty! Hope you win! And I made french toast & bacon for a Valentine's breakfast for the fella! Bacon is a major weakness, I've only ever purchased it twice in my life as I don't want to have it in the house but if I am out for breakfast, you better believe there will be a pile of bacon on my plate!! Mmm.
Seeing you wear those jeans makes me want some so bad. You wear them so well!
And sometimes boring Valentine's Days are the best. My husband came home late, we made BBQ chicken pizza and watch Get Smart for V-Day. It was perfect.
Wow!! I love it!! It´s perfect...

Your necklace was the very first thing I noticed! It looks great with your denim on denim. And thanks for showing me how to successfully pull that off - the contrast of the shirt and jeans really works.
Quiet Valentine Day's are the best. That way the focus can be on the two of you.

You make me glad that chambray made a comeback.
I think your "Texas Tuxedo" happens to be amazing looking. It takes some talent to pull off that look and you've got it. Plus, your legs look like a thousand miles long. A thousand. The unbroken line is super great for leggy looks. :)

Your outfit is certainly not boring. Love how you styled the necklace.

Definitely not boring - most of my favorite blogs talk about their day to day, at least the ones I read instead of just glance at and move on.
You inspired me to build a fort yesterday for my fiance. I was home sick, and I built it out of four chairs and every blanket in our apartment. He cracked up when he walked in, particularly because I was all sickly looking but oh so proud of our "love fort" (that title garnered even more laughter from him). Thanks for the inspiration!
my favorite outfit yet!!
Love those wide leg jeans on you. I tried on a pair yesterday, and now I'm itching to buy them! Ahh!
