staying in

Tuesday, November 23

This is what I wore today.

Shoes: Famous Footwear, Jeans: F21, Shirt: Steve and Barry's, Sweater: F21, Hat: F21
Not really. It's actually just what I threw on for outfit pictures so I can stop being so behind on this blasted 30 for 30. This is really what I'm wearing today.

Sissy and I are pulling out our finest for this Thanksgiving break.
We have a special rule here during holiday vacations. Sweats to our house, are like cocktail dresses to a fancy party: It's kind of rude to wear anything else, and we will get offended. We take this rule very seriously. So seriously in fact, that our coat rack has been replaced with a sweats rack, to better enforce this rule upon our house guests. You think I'm kidding. But you just come on over ... you'll have a big juicy plastered on your little bum in 5 seconds flat. And that's a promise.
We slept in till 10:30 this morning. Which is completely shocking since 8:00 is usually considered a luxury on a typical Saturday morning. And then we made waffles and listed to Jingle Bell Rock and a compilation of Bing Crosby and Celine Dion's Christmas Albums. {To which we try to sing along, but basically fail miserably at because honestly no one does it like Celine} And now sissy is sitting next to me curled up reading Harry Potter. Which makes me want to have a Harry Potter movie marathon in preparation for the new one we will most likely be going to see later this week. That is, if we're brave enough to weather this blasted cold.
Maybe we'll just stay in.

This is almost the exact outfit I'm wearing today, just sub out the jeans for leggings. It's SNOWY here, but not quite snowy enough! Enjoy the sweats time- that's my favorite.

soo cute! I don't have a sister so i'm definitely a little jealous of this scenario. my idea of a perfect day is cold weather, sweats, and nothing to do but relax indoors :) great holiday post!

I'm glad my family isn't the only one who stays in pj's and sweats during the holidays. Of course, for us, it's partially because my dad is so hot-natured and refuses to turn the heat up beyond about 67 degrees and we're all freezing.

Found your blog recently and have really enjoyed it. SO much so, in fact, that I kinda blogged about how much I'm lovin' it. :)

so cute and comfy!! I wish we got that much snow (maybe for a day or two haha). We get 2 inches and everything is shut down, the food aisles are in mayhem and schools are closed. Sad, but true! xoxo

I think I can top you on the lazy day outfit. I wear PJ's, all day, I don't even properly brush my hair, I'm just that lazy.

The 30/30 challenge has made me get up and get dressed even on a weekend, I find this vaguely crazy...which is probably crazy in itself.
