the thing about brains

Today I was having some brain problems. Nothing serious. Just some technical difficulties in the Frontal Lobe of my Cerebrum. {That's where you do all of your thinking you know} Do I sound smart now? Cause I use big words? Good. Because today, while I was having those brain problems, I asked husband what I should blog about. I couldn't think of a darn thing. And so husband, sitting over there on the couch with his smart little glasses, reading his fancy schmancy Harvard Case Study said, "Why don't you blog about Contingent Environmental Liabilities?"
Right.
Yes Husband. Why don't I blog about Contingent Environmental Liabilities? Because I happen to know exactly what that is. Not only that, but I'm actually an expert on that particular aspect of Business Law.

Show off. See if I ask him next time I'm low on inspiration.
Anyway.
I guess I like that he's smarter than me. Or at least more business savvy. I get to be the artsy-fartsy one, and he can be the brain. And then we'll grow old and be very happy together ... him with his logic and me with my emotions. Him with his square glasses and me with my cat-eyes.

Yeah I get that feeling with my boyfriend, I do Ancient History and Archaeology, he does Astrophysics...his sounds a lot smarter than mine, mine just makes me sound like a crazy person living in the past.

Your outfit is adorable today I love the blue and grey together.

Aren't you frozen standing in the snow with no coat on? You're clearly a human radiator to stand such temperatures and still smile beautifully.

November 29, 2010 12:06 PM

Haha! That sounds like something my hubby would do, except it would be about computers instead of business...:)
Love the outfit!! Great colors-it looks beautiful on you!

I love this outfit, Sydney! It's coordinated without being too matchy-matchy -- I love the subtle play of the different shades of grey and blue and brown.

Also, mad props for braving the cold. Seriously.

Love this outfit. Sometimes the matching thing just totally works. You nailed it. Also, I happen to think you're very intelligent. You're engaging, visionary, and approachable all at the same time, and look at your successful pants. (not your pants literally. No pun intended. or maybe I do mean that...) Love ya girl!
