10 reasons why we love Sunday

This post inspired by this post from about a year ago.
1. A sweet inspired church service. I especially love getting to gather together with other women and learn about our Savior's love for us and how we can strive to be more like Him.
2. Sleeping in {just a little}. Rarely do I ever get to wake up with husband still next to me. It's like my favorite thing to roll over and see him just laying there with his eyes open, probably thinking about something important. "Morning, sugar", he says.
3. The fact that it snowed pretty much all day, but we got to snuggle up in our jammies inside till noon.
4. No Saturday football. Well, that's why I love Sunday. Not Husband.
5. Cinnamon rolls. That were not destroyed, thank you.
6. Dusting off our old journals and reading through them.  Gaw, I used to be such a weirdo.
7. Having the time to paint my toenails and not feel guilty about it
8. Also having the time to take a nap and not feel guilty about it
9. A meal that included 3 different sides. THREE. Husband started hyperventilating.
10. And today, the excitement of the impending holidays just around the corner.
Have a lovely Sunday night!

And P.S. Yes, I am aware that I should be on day 7, not 6. But I spent the majority of yesterday in my jams and an un-noteworthy 30 for 30 ensemble. So it doesn't count.

Am I the only one who checks your blog every 5 seconds? GAH! Great list. I love the cinnamon rolls part - I haven't had those in forever and usually have to wait for Christmas morning for them as they're tradition!! Great outfit too as usual :)

November 14, 2010 7:43 PM

I love the way you tied your belt! And I'm still super jealous of that snow!

November 14, 2010 8:17 PM

I can completely relate to the fabulousness of waking up to the realization that he's still there and heading in for a good cuddle. LOVE!

Happy ya took a day to relax in the sweats—sometimes a girl's gotta have a day off of looking fantastic. right?

November 14, 2010 8:25 PM

this morning my 3 year old woke me up at 6am with a doll in my face, asking to put her jacket on so she would be ready for church. endearing and annoying.

November 14, 2010 8:34 PM

Sundays are, by far, the best day of the week. And it's pretty much the only day of the week that basically implies we'll be dressing up! (well, if you're a "religious type")

November 14, 2010 8:36 PM

I love your look!!! plus I love all the things you just listed that you did today... well minus the hubby stuff since I don't have one. I hope you have an amazing week to follow your lovely Sunday.

I just painted my toes.
They needed some attention, so I think it's safe to say that my toes love sundays as well! Ha.

PS.. Sending you "THE BUN" pics tomorrow!!! Eeek! Much love friend :)

November 14, 2010 10:07 PM

agh, love sundays!

November 14, 2010 10:23 PM

I love that grey belt!! And seriously? That necklace was thrifted? Where?? I might be good at thrifting, but I NEVER find cute necklaces like that. One of my favorite posts you have ever done was a Sunday post. It was the one where Tys gave a talk and you said you got "Nala eyes" That was the day I fell in love with you. I mean that in the most sister to sister way. :)

November 14, 2010 10:25 PM

Glad you had a great Sunday! I'm curious about your sides. . . . My roommates and I used to (um and sometimes still do ha) play the journal game where you either open to a random page or a person picks a page for everyone to open to and then you read a sentence out loud. Ah, the fond memories. :)

November 14, 2010 10:32 PM

ahh, i yearn to see snow fall. not gonna happen here... i love sunday naps too. they are always the best!

November 14, 2010 11:25 PM

I can totally relate! Sleeping in & snuggling has become our guilty pleasure since we both started working from home. the day starts off so late, but we love it too much to give it up when we know it won't last forever!
