Yes, those are our University ID’s. Cause yes, we met on the first day of school. Kinda like how you meet your crush on the first day of kindergarten. Except meeting your crush on the first day of college is waaay better, cause you don’t get in trouble with your mom when you immediately feel the urge to stick your hand in your crush’s back pocket and go strutting around the playground. Which obviously, I felt the urge to do the first time I met Husband. His butt is sa-weeet. True story.

So here’s how it went down.

Girl is lost. Girl is trying to find her way through the big line of people waiting for their University ID’s so she isn’t late for work. Girl walks right past boy and doesn’t notice. Boy notices girl. Boy stops girl. Boy uses clever lines like, “Hey, don’t I know you from somewhere?” Girl isn’t impressed. But girl notices boy is very cute. Suddenly girl forgets that she is still frantically searching for a way to get through the line of people and get to work on time. She also forgets boy’s name when he tells her. Girl forgets things easily when girl’s heart starts beating kind of fast. Boy tells girl that he was actually serious. Boy really does recognize girl. Turns out, boy served his mission near girl’s home. Turns out, boy met girl’s family one night when girl was at work. Turns out, boy saw a picture of girl in her house and somehow remembered it after all this time. Now girl’s heart is really beating fast. Boy asks for girl’s number. Girl gives it to him. Boy calls her that day. They go out. On the first date, girl gets green thing stuck in girl’s front teeth. Boy doesn’t tell her. Things are not going so well for girl. But regardless of embarrassing green things, boy decides he still likes girl. They go out again. And again. And again. Boy has still not kissed girl. Girl is getting kind of worried that boy thinks they are just friends. So girl calls her mom. Mom knows what to do. So girl puts on her black dress. The one that makes girl’s curves come out of hiding. They go out again. Boy kisses girl. Definitely girl’s best kiss ever. And boy hasn’t stopped kissing girl since.
