sister sister

Saturday, October 2

Our day together started with a cuddle and pictures in bed. Because morning faces just need to be documented sometimes.

And then we picked out outfits for pictures, dolled up and tried some new things with make-up and hair. Just look at her. Wowza.

For dinner, we both had our first experience at P.F. Changs. We sat on the patio outside and dined on lettuce wraps and pork won-tons.
We get it now.

And our lovely hostess just happened to be one of my best friends from Middle School who I haven't seen in over 8 years! It was unreal and so wonderful to catch up.

The rest of our evening was spent stopping in at our favorite stores, taking cheese-ball pictures in a photo booth, catching a late night movie and taking self portraits that we think really captured our essence. ie: the golden ray halo. ;)

The parts that aren't covered by pictures include the 20 minute hike we took up 'Helaman hill' {newly dubbed 'the hellish hill we hate because it makes us sweat a lot'} to clear a parking citation I got my first night here. They waived it. Mostly because I think they saw the beads of sweat on our foreheads and the fact that we walked in at 4:58 and didn't want to mess. Also, our very grown-up trip to the grocery store this morning to purchase eggo's, capt' crunch, bacon, 2% milk and the fixings for the caramelized pecan rolls we'll be making tomorrow. So wholesome. Our mother would be proud.
Oh, and the fact that we slept in until 10 this morning, because we have the whole apartment to ourselves now and it is blissfully quiet. And the weekend continues ...

P.S. Several have asked for a little more deets on what Stephanie talked about the other night. I updated my last post at the bottom if anyone is interested.

A first for PF Changs-that's a straight up sin! I moan in utter delight throughout the entire meal there. Crab wontons-seriously, get them next time!
