I wish and I'm thankful

Boyfriend button up: F21, Scarf: H&M, Jeans: 7 for all mankind, Belt: thrifted, Shoes: Charlotte Russe
I wish that I had the whole day off just to spend cleaning my house
I'm thankful that I don't. That would be boring.

I wish that the weather would stay like this all year round. Crisp and sunny and 65 degrees.
I'm thankful that even though it won't, I can wear these sky-high heels until it snows. Or until it reaches the point that my life is in danger. Whichever comes first.

I wish that my town was a bit bigger. And maybe had a taxi or two. And maybe a trendy cafe and bookshop to entertain me.
But I'm thankful that people in this town can still appreciate "that scarf thing"

I wish dinner would cook itself.
But I'm thankful that I have to learn.
Just kidding. I'm not.

I wish husband didn't want to go to Chicago. I hate that trip.
I'm thankful that he has so many wonderful opportunities

I wish that my boobs would stop shrinking.
But I'm thankful that at least husband knows how awesome they used to be.
{OK! Enough. I'm done with the boob whining. Promise.}

I wish I could fast forward to the end of this year and get my graduation on.
I'm thankful for school. I'm thankful for school. I'm thankful for school. I'm thankful for school. {I think it's working a little bit}

I wish thanksgiving would just get here already.
I'm thankful for cranberry sauce.

Happy hump-day guys. I thought it'd never get here.

I live in a little town and they sometimes appreciate "that scarf thing" but that's about as fashionably different as they allow me to be. I'm pushing them though. Oh and I'm ready for all Thanksgiving food.

Ok you are awesome. Srsly. but you probably know that. "That scarf thing" too funny. Sometimes I feel like my town is like that, but other times not so. Hey and be grateful you actually have boobs. My poor genes never gave me a chance!

I too just starting following after finding you via What Would a Nerd Wear! So far I'm loving what your blog has to offer. :)

I just celebrated Thanksgiving this weekend, and boy was the cranberry sauce delicious. One of the perks of being Canadian is getting that fall feast of pumpkin pie, turkey, squash, and apple cider more than a month earlier than in the US. :)

PS - I have those shoes, in orange (the black is sooo much better) and I NEVER wear them (you can see the last time I wore them - almost eight months ago!) as I find the heel is... shifty. Like, not super sturdy. It wiggles a little with each step, it seems. Do you find this?
