fall, in a box

Tuesday, October 26

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Boots: Steve and Barry's, Pants: F21, Stiped Turtleneck: Steve and Barry's, Sweater: H&M, Scarf: Gifted
Just a couple thing because my mind is going everywhere:
  1.  My mom sent us a package yesterday. And it was filled to the brim with fall goodies: Caramels, a leaf-patterned table runner, deliciously scented candles, that fabulous purple scarf you see above, and the most perfect tee I've ever seen in my entire life. It has bling. {try and find a cooler one, I dare you}
  2.  I got a wild hair this afternoon and melted down the caramels, mixed 'em up with hazelnut cream and cinnamon and made my own version of carameled apples. {I usually really hate trying to eat those things, so I cheated and cut them up beforehand.}
  3.  I feel like rainbow brite today. I almost never wear this much color all at once. Orange, army green, purple and blue. ooo-ooh! I feel daring for the dumbest things.
  4.  The other day I read an article in Elle about saline breast implants. And now I'm never getting them. I was always a fan of my ta-tas anyways.
  5. The high for today and tomorrow is 35 degrees. 35 DEGREES PEOPLE. With possible snow flurries. Just the cherry on top, really.

first commenter?! get out of here (maybe in the time i'm taking to write this though, someone's already beat me to it). anyway, i have never heard of steve and barry's which is really a shame since i want that striped shirt! oh well. if i got that then i'd have copied you twice and you'd be all like 'bridget get your own fashion blog'

so sweet of your mom. maybe she could send me a package too? hm? no? probably not?

Ok, this is going to be a long comment....

What a wonderful thing for your Mum to do! These fall goodies look amazing - my first thought when I saw this post was 'where did she get that scarf!?'

Your caramel apples sound soo good. It isn't even autumn here but I've been tempted to make some for Halloween, and now I see that you cut yours up, yay! I can't bite into even regular apples (capped front teeth, bleh) so I think I will have to do that.

Oh, and your outfit is adorable. I really do love those pants.

I think I'm done now :)

Okay, first of all, I love that you're rockin' all that colour (but in the photos, I didn't even think of that when I initially looked at 'em, I just thought you looked good).

Secondly, can I PLEASE get a tee like that?! WICKED!!

Lastly, shouldn't you be wearing a jacket, Missy - you DID say it was SNOWING there today!!! :P

1- Super cute outfit {Like always!} Love the colors together- and your boots!

2- I am so jealous your Mom sent you all those goodies! I love that shirt, any idea where she got it?

3- Cutting up apples before you make caramel apples! DUH! Wow- I don't know why I never thought of that! Hazelnut cream and cinnamon on them sound a-ma-zing!

4- I'm sorry it's so cold there! I can't believe you are already getting snow flurries! It's still warm here in Virginia- so you at least have that to look forward to when you guys move!

Gorgeous photos as always! I love your hair and boots today!

LOVE your outfit, it's good to be daring sometimes, just as long as it's no Lady Gaga, haha. The scarf is sooo pretty, I wonder where your mom got it. Great taste! <3

I'm stealing this look from you. Just letting you know. And 35 degrees in October is why I fled southern ID back to the milder climates of WA. I hate the cold. I guess i hated the heat too. Maybe I'm just whiny. :)

Ahh, there's nothing like getting packages in the mail! And I need to make some caramel apples asap! I have to say, I'm a little bit envious about the weather you're having there. It's still 80s in Florida, which might SOUND wonderful, but it's supposed to be the littlest bit nippy in fall, ya know?

Monique said...

Love this outfit combo w/ the striped shirt/khaki pant/burnt boots - very nice. Definitely swiping this idea!

3. The high today here in VA is 86!
4. My blog post today is titled Rainbow Bright...we must be the same person! :-) Not really, but I wish I was as cute as you!!

I think you look adorable and daring today in your choices. You also look really great as an ultra modern version of Rainbow Brite.

When I woke up this morning, it was 85 in my Georgia house. EIGHTY FIVE AND it was RAINING outside. This is NOT fall weather, dammit.

Seriously. Could you BE any cuter? I don't think so. That's just not right. And I'm witchooo on the caramel apples. It's waaaay easier to cut them up than gnaw on them on a stick. Your concoction sounds DELISH.

Merci!

you should also get your hubs to do a photo tutorial... (he takes your pics, right?) I just got a DSLR and when I try to dance around like you do I look blurry and weird haha

Your mom is one neat lady. I remember the last time she sent you a package and you blogged about it. How did she get so cool? I freaking love those caramels. You haven't reached fall until you eat some of those. or in my case like 80. Also, I'm beginning to think this whole thing about you not cooking is an act. Drop it and admit you can come up with amazing things!
