9 things I learned from today

Thursday, October 14

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Shoes: Michael Kors, Pants: F21, Shirt: Old Navy, Wrap: Gap, Belt: Thrifted
1. I am an idiot for thinking I could wear these shoes today.
2. I'm really good at writing funny, short stories to share just with husband.
3. Dropping your phone 5 times in one day is not acceptable.
4. Husband hates celery. And will NOT eat it no matter how guilty I make him feel for not finishing the divine meal I prepared for him. {divine = not burned}
5. Cross-walks mean nothing to some people.
6. I need to officially hold husband captive this weekend so he will stop. working. I hate it when nobody wants to play with me.
7. I crave macaroni and cheese for every meal.
8. That, and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. My pallet is continually becoming less refined by the day.
9. My subconscious thinks Taylor Swift is my best friend. We're going on two dreams and counting.

YOU GUYS! It's Friday in 4 hours!! wahooooo

to reciprocate from yesterday--is that sweater still at the gap?? i kind of luurve and need it.
and yes, that necklace is definitely a recent acquisition from forever 21. you can't go wrong at $8, even if it will fall apart in a month :)

Super cute! The sweater makes it cozy! Also, peanut butter and jelly is the best.

Also, I love your blog design and *may* have copied you menu, little bit. Okay, totally. :)

Could you just stop already with the always-looking-effortlessly-chic? Seriously, another great look.
Also, I have the highest standards for grammar and punctuation and your blog never disappoints there either.
Sydney (again) FTW!

i wore nude sky high heels today.. and tried climbing grated stairs... are you kidding me?

and i totally know how you feel about husbands working and no one to play with.. although i've got my kids, i need adult conversation here and there.

p.s. i saw that you know rachel holdaway.. seriously love that girl (she's in my ward)

Talk about model shots. You should do a post about posing. You just always look effortless. Your toes looks extremely pointed in one of the pictures, were you a dancer? just curious!!

OMG PEDESTRIANS ARE THE WORSSSSST IN THIS TOWN! they have their ipods on, they're texting, and they step into the road without even LOOKING. sometimes i'm tempted to give them a little tap just to scare the poo out of them. geesh.

I could never handle wearing heels that high for longer than a church session (and only because we're mostly sitting down). You look so cute!

Hi Sydney! I stumbled upon your blog the other day. I love it!!! Your pictures are gorgeous and your writing is so friendly and fun. :) I almost bought a pair of heels just like that yesterday, but I decided not to - now I'm a little sad I didn't. :)

Can't wait to read more!

Sydney, did I ever tell you I think we are so meant to be friends?! I mean I could write ten pages to show evidence of this. lol

But for now I will just say 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 9 also apply to me :)

Those shoes may hurt your feet, but they look killer on you. They have done some amazing things to your legs! Also, I am in love with the way you belted this sweater. I have a few similar style sweaters and I'm eager to get home and give belting them a try!

Just found your blog because you asked Kendi a question on formspring and I think I slightly stalk her. (stalk = slightly overstated and I stalk lots of blogs nowadays)

But anyway I love this. I love your 9 things. Time to spend my evening reading your archives.

All day on my 9/80 day off = reading blogs day. I'm so glad I discovered this one.
Also I like how you "tied" your belt or whatever you want to call it.

(I think i'm sounding crazy. Perhaps spending all day reading blogs isn't such a good idea.)

1. you are a babe for wearing those shoes today.

2. funny short stories are gems.

3. dropping your phone 9 times in a day, however, is quite acceptable. its my record.

4. i hate celery too! its the one food i will not eat. i thought i was alone.

5. i feel you. some people need to go to Jaywalkers Anonymous.

6. thats just cute.

7. my appreciation for mac & cheese has gone down due to the fact that its aroma greets me on a daily basis. i'm a college student, dorming. so go figure.

8. pb & j is my homesickness food. its a cure. it should be prescribed. {wouldnt i make a great doctor?}

9. since i have long blonde hair & play guitar, people call me m-swift sometimes. im determined to be her when i grow up.

im sure this comment wasted too much of your day - but maybe it'll help you get to friday faster? i hope so. :)
