and he gave me googly eyes and drove his car proudly around town in front of everybody.

That is such a cute idea I may just steal it! Except I know my husband won't have the same reaction as yours; Mine will most likely thank me and slowly and shyly remove all hand made decors I've made. Teehhee it'll be great!
