{yes, it looks like I wore the same shirt twice in a row, but actually I waited a whole day before I put it on again. Just like I'll wait a whole nother day before I wear it again on the first day of school. It's just that it's my fave guys. And it's new. And it was on sale. And right now I feel like it's the only thing in my closet.}

I had my first day back on Campus today. I journeyed over to the bookstore to pick up both our books while Tys was in his mentor training meetings, where I discovered that my Art Through the Ages class requires the single largest and heaviest book in the entire store. No exaggeration peeps. That $200 sucker is a monster. So with that and about 25 other books for the both of us in tow {senior year much?}, I sweated and panted my way back to our car, that was {of course} parked in one of the northern campus lots. Awesome. However, after I unloaded the pile, I wandered back down to where Tys was and waited for his meetings to get out. And that was enjoyable. I layed on the green grass, next to the blooming flowers and admired the fact that the gorgeous sunny day required sunglasses. I watched the new freshman wander around campus, some flirting with each other, some looking totally lost and some looking at me like "dude, are you allowed to be on the grass like that?" Yes, I'm allowed to be on the grass like this. Keep your pants on Ducky.
It was fun, ya know. Soaking up the last of the year's warmth and people watching. Reveling {and maybe a little mourning} in the fact that we're almost done. And while I'm sure my mood will drastically change once the snow hits, right now I'm kinda lovin our little Rexy.

P.S. Boise State's kick-off against VT was yesterday. Tys was so nervous he had to go to the bathroom like 5 times before the game and the final touchdown merrited a dramatic swinging open of our front door and a healthy whooping yell into our quiet little neighboorhood. Sorry neighbors. He really can't help himself. SOOOOOO glad they won! If they hadn't, that would have merrited a seriously depressing first week of school.

Did you say goodbye to blogging? I happened upon your blog sometime during the summer. I loved reading your post but then you stopped. Any chance you'll start back up again?
