Just passing through

Sunday, August 29

We're here in Kansas City for a couple days visiting Husband's family before continuing on the last leg of our journey towards school-io. Activities so far have included: doting on our favorite little family member, staying up way too late around the kitchen table, family nap time {Tys, Dave, Kamie and I all piled onto their new tempra-pedic mattress and fell into a blissful coma this afternoon}, going to church, family and senior pictures for Dayners, and some other much needed brainless activities, like football video games and watching UP with the little. We just can't get enough of these guys.

These pics were taken on a tripod after a little "move 2 steps that way", "turn your body this way", "no Dave, don't put your hands like that", running, panting and sweating on my part and a lot of patience on their part. Thank goodness they aren't close-ups.

Are those two boys on the left a couple? They are cute! You think I could break them up?

No Tyler, you can not break them up.

Syd, as always your photography is lovely! These family photos are so great! And the ones of Dayne are equally as awesome.
Sorry I didn't get the chance to talk to you guys yesterday, but I'm glad Michael got to catch up with you two for a bit!
And thanks for your sweet comments about my little "bump." I feel pretty chubby these days, so that was a nice self esteem boost. :)
Travel safe and have a great semester at school!! (Senior year... Woo woo!!)
Hopefully we'll catch you again when you come back on through... Christmas or Thanksgiving perhaps... :)

I love that you refer to your husband as "Husband." I call my boifren, "Boifren." I don't actually think I've ever called him by his real name.
