A little bit of fabulousness

Yesterday, I pretended I was a rich girl.
I had a little time to spare after running an errand, so I decided to be brave, put on my very grown-up, "trust me, I can afford this" red lipstick and visited the designer section of nordstroms. {first time everrr}
In honor of the momentous occasion, I decided to go big. Roberto Cavalli big.
I swear, the second I got off the escalator, the dress was staring me down from across the entirety of the 3rd floor. Imagine big neon lights. With sparkles. And fireworks with my name written out in a super-fabulous, jewel-tone-colored rainbow:
Hi Sydney. I'm Roberto.
Wear me.
It was ruffled. It was silk. It was the perfect shade of jeweled blue. In all of it's one shouldered, floor-sweeping, rouched-waist glory ... it was worth every penny of the $1,750 price tag. That's right.
One thousand, seven hundred and fifty dollars.

If I really WAS a rich girl, I can't say that I wouldn't have dropped the dough.
Shameless.

For the next 20 minutes, under the watchful eye of my red-carpet worthy assistant, {ha! if only she had known how well my evil lipstick plan was working} I tried on several more beauts.
Most of which made my lady lumps look awesome. Thus, I will not be posting those photos on here.
You're welcome.

Anyways.
What I really came to say was:

My name is Sydney and I'm a recovering
rich-person-impersonator-who's-giggly-and-blushing-and-exhibiting-all-kinds-of-other-ridiculous-behavior-because-I'm-hopelessly-in-love-with-a-Roberto-Cavalli-dress.

There. Secret's Out.

{and for the record. I cannot beleive how terrible that picture turned out. My one chance to be fabulous in that dress and the picture is blurry. Gawh.}

Aaw... It's cute, summery, fabulous clothes like those that sometimes make me want to ditch the modest clothes for the summer!Plus, it's so hot!

I wouldn't look as good as you in those dresses, though! Way to go!

P.S.
Every time I go into Nordstroms, which is my favorite place, it's so beautiful and shiny, I feel like a hobo. I could have on my cutest outfit and fixed my hair and makeup, it doesn't matter. I think the red lipstick is a great idea!
