here's to a new decade

First of all, feel free to ignore this post, it's basically a self accountability method for my very procrastination-inclined self. I figure that if my new years resolutions are posted online for the entire world to see...it might somehow motivate me to actually do them. Sad, I know. But, we're gonna go with what works.
so. here it is:

res #1: be happy! be positive!
res #2: eat right with mom's Fit Challenge Food Guide {if you still happen to be reading, my mom is a personal training extraordinaire, serving as husband and I's personal guide to this years fit challenge}
res #3 Plan meals at the beginning of every week to make sure healthy eating happens
res #4 do mom's little 20 min workout every morning. don't complain. give it a chance to give you more energy
res #5 read my new book: women, work and the art of savoir faire-gain more enthusiasm for my work
res #6 make a conscious effort to serve husband daily
res #7 temple and nursing home every other week
res #8 no cable- read books! {good-bye glee, flash forward, V, 24 and top model...you shall be sorely missed}
res #9 daily prayer and scripture study - read a part of Sunday lesson with husband before bed
res #10 good grades and a great semester-no complaining and no cranky-pants allowed!

All of those sound fairly doable to me except #8...I couldn't go without my cable or even without my TiVo. Good luck.
